Zoia is a doula, intuitive guide, and proud mother of two who has been supporting families and individuals through life’s most transformative transitions for nearly two decades. Originally from Bulgaria, she has called the Ottawa Valley, Lanark Highlands and Perth area home for more than 30 years, bringing warmth, wisdom, and grounded presence to every person she works with.

Her journey into birth work began in 2006 as a Mothercraft volunteer, where she discovered her gift for holding space during the tender perinatal period. She went on to train professionally as a doula in 2009 and has spent the years since offering compassionate support, education, and emotional grounding as families welcome new life.

Zoia believes that the perinatal period is a time of profound growth-not only for the baby, but for the entire family. She approaches her work with deep respect for each family’s unique story, offering gentle guidance that honours both collective and individual needs. Her calm presence and compassionate listening create a safe space for healing, connection, and honest conversation-foundations that help families navigate challenges and rediscover joy in their journey together.
Her goal is always to provide steady, nurturing support that helps parents feel grounded and confident through every transition. Whether she’s offering hands-on assistance, emotional reassurance, or practical education, Zoia’s approach is rooted in empathy, intuition, and genuine love for the work she does.

In recent years, Zoia’s path has expanded to include supporting individuals beyond the perinatal period. As a Certified Numerologist, Certified Life Coach, and Reiki Master, she weaves energetic guidance, intuitive insight, and practical tools into her work. Her sessions-whether individual or in community-are truly an experience: shaped by the person in front of her, the surrounding universal energy, and the quiet wisdom rising from within. These sessions offer a powerful pause from everyday life, inviting people to breathe, ground, reconnect with themselves, and discover their next aligned step forward.

Her current offerings include monthly Women’s Community Circles and Intuitive Movement: Party for the Soul events, which blend energy, embodiment, community, and deep self-connection.

Outside of her practice, Zoia enjoys spending time with her husband and children, relaxing in nature, dancing, camping, and traveling. Her joyful spirit and warm energy infuse both her personal life and her work with clients.
